June featured a ton a great bands dropping new albums and a lot of highly anticipated music.
A Plea, A Promise – Grief
A Plea, A Promise are a metalcore outfit from Scotland and Crowded have been following these guys for a while, these guys have been doing a hell of a lot of touring and have been killing it. Grief is also the first track featuring their new vocalist Justin Dilworth who has been touring with them for over a year now and we can’t wait to see more of him.
’68 – The Workers Are Few
This track is off ’68 new album ‘Two Parts Viper’ and this is by far our favourite track off it, The Workers Are Few is a prime example of how much Josh Scogin’s songwriting has evolved.
Royal Blood – I Only Lie When I Love You
I Only Lie When I Love You comes of Royal Blood’s sophomore album How Did We Get So Dark?, is track is probably the best hook on the album.
Oceans Ate Alaska – Escapist
Oceans Ate Alaska dropped the second single of their new album ‘Hikari’ which comes out 28th July.
Hundredth – Disseray
Disseray is off Hundredth’s new album Rare which sees a massive change in sound, moving on from the melodic hardcore genre and taking a new step within indie/shoegaze.
Sharkteeth Grinder – Dead
Sharkteeth Grinder are Mathcore/Hardcore quartet straight out of Corby and have been relentlessly playing as many shows as they can, they played for us in Leicester supporting Carbine and were ones to remember putting on one hell of a live show.
Holding Absence – Penance
New music from Holding Absence, the hype that these guys have at the moment is unreal and well deserved another band that have been on the touring circuit playing multiple headline shows across the country and gaining big festival slots at Fat Lip Fest, Amplified Festival and even Download.
Wallflower – Splintered
We’ve been waiting for new music from Wallflower ever since we saw them in Leicester back in March supporting Decade, and now they are back and have also announce a new EP ‘where it fell apart’ which is set to drop on 18th August.
Canvas – Hospital Beds (signed to basick)
The band Canvas had a couple greats announcement not only releasing their new single Hospital Beds but also announcing their new signing with Basick Records who have a number of great bands such as Create To Inspire, Napoleon and many more.
